Arrange a managed Classroom setup

Hosting requires a Classroom subscription, a managed desktop installation and independently issued educator authorisation. A licence key alone does not enable hosting in an unconfigured download.

Program review requires separate authorisation; permission to manage lesson participation alone is insufficient.

Complete school authorisation and privacy arrangements before a pilot with children.

Creator Pro extends the educator’s development tools. It does not grant Creator Pro to every learner or replace the separate authorisation needed for Classroom hosting and program review.

The learning tools and Dutch teaching kit are free. In the current desktop build, joining a Classroom lesson requires a Classroom licence; a free Learner licence alone does not enable joining.

Pliro is in early preview. The capabilities described here reflect development as of 10 September 2026; availability depends on the preview build. Contact us for current access and release details.

01Windows desktop editor	Implemented	Localized editor and installer. Recommended and Full installations include private offline Build Tools. Installed editor and CLI access require valid activation.
02Browser playground	Initial version	Edit loose source with local browser compilation, diagnostics, Run/Stop, and visual output. It does not provide the full desktop project workflow or bundled project media.
03Windows application export	Implemented	Console and graphical builds for AMD64, ARM64, and 32-bit x86. The x86 target requires Windows 10 or later and SSE2.
04Linux application export	Implemented	AMD64 and ARM64 console and graphics. Graphical output uses X11/XWayland or a direct-display fallback. These targets do not expose Raspberry Pi GPIO.
05Raspberry Pi OS export	Device validation ongoing	ARM64 and ARMv7 console, graphics, and supported digital GPIO. Graphics need direct display access and suitable permissions without a competing compositor. SSH deployment requires a configured destination; the editor uses existing key or agent authentication.
06Linux RISC-V 64 export	Preview	Experimental console-only builds. Graphical programs are not supported.
07Phone preview	Preview	One paired phone receives supported 2D/turtle output while execution stays on the desktop. Android native-build and physical-device validation remain release gates.
08Standalone web and Android apps	Planned	Exportable web applications and standalone Android APK/AAB packaging are separate future work.
09macOS and iOS	Not confirmed for release	A validated macOS editor/export or iOS application release has not been established.
